E-Mail Recovery
Email is not held in
a single file. If you need to recover and restore your e-mail
– you must restore the entire E-Mail inbox, complete with settings.
Please find below, the recovery instructions for both MS
Outlook and MS Outlook Express.
MS
Outlook

Choose
“RECOVER FILES” under the Quick Fixes category and
select the radio button
option labeled “Search and recover files by its type (e.g.
*.doc)

Search by file
"*.pst".

Once
successful – you will be asked to choose the snapshot from
which you would like to recover the Outlook files. Select the
"Select the "last in time" snapshot, created during the very
first step in this process.

Right click
the search results and select "Recovery to current system" to bring
over the email files.
MS Outlook Express

Choose
“RECOVER FILES” under the Quick Fixes category and
select the radio button
option labeled “Search and recover folder by its name (e.g. My
Documents)

Search by
folder "Outlook Express"

Once
successful – you will be asked to choose the snapshot from
which you would like to recover the Outlook files. Select
the "last in time" snapshot, created during the very first
step in this process.

Right click
the search results and select "Recovery to current system"
to bring over the email files.
